5 Elements?

I was graffin with this girl and we had a little discussion.. I need some clarification here.

what are the 5 elements

Mc'ing/rapping, Bboy/breakdancing, DJing, beatboxing, graffiti ? is that right? is beat making supposed to just fall under Djing or what?!

Bud-E is an unknown quantity at this point
it should be turntablism, not dj'ing.
a dj mixes 2 records while a turntablist would mix, scratch, and add other fx

hiphop and the subsequent philosophy was developed in the 70s.

the term "turntablism" was coined in the 90s.

"Beatboxing, popularized by Doug E. Fresh, considered by many to be the "fifth element" of hip hop, is the vocal percussion of hip hop culture. It is primarily concerned with the art of creating beats, rhythms, and melodies using the human mouth. The term beatboxing is derived from the mimicry of the first generation of drum machines, then known as beatboxes."

There are only three elements: Earth, Wind and Fire.

Feelin, happy feelin' in the music
that we're giving, feel the power
of the hour, every moment, that
you're living...

Little babies, tell the story,
mother-nature, and its glory,
share the feelin, with your brother,
don't stop caring, one another...
There's a reason, that we pleasing,
what you're yearnin'
life's a burnin'...

^well duh, I meant what you posted.

"MCing (rapping), DJing, urban inspired art/tagging (graffiti), b-boying (or breakdancing, to most), and beatboxing."

so according to that I was right.

tiffy : this girl did that cover for me, so Ill have to ask her where she got the font. pretty dope tho I must say.
