Hip Hop @ parties ?

Just wondering what everyone would think of a hip hop act @ a small party (300ppl).

Obviously it wouldn't be a huge name, but a respectable name nontheless...

that would be fucking awesome, small amount of people would make it easier to watch a DMC dj or whoever do a dope scratch routine, and everyone can appreciate that skill and enjoy a performance like that.

Hmmmm, hip hop is dope, don't get me wrong, but I'm not a big fan of it at parties. There usually isn't enough energy in the music itself, but if I was really high, it prolly would be cool. I say keep it electronic, fast paced, and high energy!!

yeah if its a dj set..id rather see czech or j swing and shit play some dope hip hop then listen to some chump ass lyrists.

in my opinion alot of hip hop acts suck ass live, its only on the radio and cd after the studio has fixed there voices that they are actually decent sounding..theres only a few acts that i have come across live that are any good.

tho i everytime i here czech, vinyl richie, jswing etc play a hiphop set its almots always satisfying, wether its at a club or on the radio.

there's a lot of talented local artists.. Fourth world and Freshcoast are alright but I mean Low Pressure has so many talented MCs: Josh Martinez and Ink Operated for example.
There's a wide selection of great artists that would put on dope shows!
