DOH vs. CHILLS

so help me out which one should i go to?!!! i mean i wuz planning to go to chills but like cumon doh is on a boat and ive never partied on a boat before!!!

EXACTLY wut i was thinking. i wanna go to doh...cuz its on a boat and its actually pretty cheap for a boat party. BUT everyones going to chills.....OR should i be a good girl and take that weekend off partying? hmmmmm....

I'm in tha same situation.....my friend wants to go to Doh cause hes been to all the Dohs and wants to complete the serires......I wanna go to Chills cause most of the F&K people are gonna go there........but then I kinda wanna go to Doh cause its on a boat and DJ Oscure <---------Need I say more????......Well then yes I wil "BREAKS, I LOVE EM". Right now I'm leanin towards Doh but not 100% sure yet so we'll see what happends in tha next couple of weeks.

I really don't think it's so much of a versus kind of thing...

Chills is featuring more of breaks and DnB line up with a bit of house...

D'oh is featuring more of a house and trance line up with some breaks...

Chills is an out door camping event for $10 in advance...

D'oh is in the $25-$40 range and is on a boat....

I think that in general there will be a fairly different crowd at both. Also Chills is in part being thrown by a Whistler based company (JnB Tuesday nights at Tommy's) and will have a whole ton of the Whistler crew in effect.

Also as Hirshee mentioned a LOT of people will go to both...


I have always had a great time at D'oh (I've gone every year since part 1) and know they will do just fine. Also I really hope that all those people who love the outdoors and camping come to Chills nice and early on the 24th to set up camp and have a great time in an amzing out door space.

As a side note I was there on Sunday doing some planning work and there was NO misquitoes... I mean not a one!!!


All I know is that August 24th is going to be one night that Vancouver will be a very fun city (fuck that no fun bullshiat)!!!!

oh yeah. 4- THere's a bar, and it's over at a decent time. so you can sleep like a normal person!!!!

boat parties are fun, but i love partying outside in the nature and watching the sun come. not to mention i will be able to watch the sun come up while listening to phat beats and sipping a beer with good friends, while sitting on a beautiful river. also, this party will go a lot longer then doh, last year it went until gas ran out of the generator, and then gas was syphoned from volunteers cars to keep the party going awhile longer. also, again it depends on your music style.

As far as sleep you can take a nap any time you like at Chills in any one of the many tents that will be there. Also we have a stellar line up with over 30 DJ's and I will be there. Sorry Chris... Hehehhhee
