Yeah i know its their job to search people for drugs n stuff, but what do they really have to gain from busting people anyways? Having people hate them personally and the satisfaction of knowing they're doin their job? They've prolly heard every trick in the book but they dont really care to bust the ravers..who are ultimately the people who provide them work for the night, lol.

Yeah because it's totally unheard of that someone would feel satisfied in doing their job properly right? I did security and I don't have anyone who hates me personally. When you're paid to do a job you do it and I was paid to bust annoyng little crack monkeys like yourself who seem to have such a major problem with authority. The issue isn't whether or not I WANTED to take away your drugs it's the fact that I was paid to do it and hired by the wonderful production company that threw the party you were at.

Anyone who gets a personal hate on for a security guard is a moron. They're doing a job, just like you when you're flipping burgers or typing on a keyboard or whatever it is you do for work. I guess I shouldn't be suprised by the lack of respect out of a bunch of raver kids but it boggles my mind nonetheless.

Chill out man, out of all people i prolly have the least problem with justified authority. Im not sayin that every security guard is gona be hated for busting people, i meant more like why would a security guard put that extra bit of effort to bust somebody whos only there to have fun when they've got another couple thousand people waitin in line..and exactly..its not that you WANT to take away their drugs. I didnt say "any security guard who busts somebody for drugs and does his job is gona be hated for bein a jerk". And crack-monkey..i dont think so buddy..i'd barely touch weed once a week at most...E maybe one cap once ever 2 months at least. And annoying? yeah maybe..but id save your breathe till you got to know me..sounds like u got one of those big-shot dont-fuck-with-me-cuz im a security guard typa attitudes.

I can concede on the crack monkey comment.... I wasn't so much assuming you were one as I was addressing the attitude of it all.

As for me doing the big shot attitude, man you've got me wrong for sure. Its not that at all. I mean I'm not so much a tough guy as someone who is proud of his job and proud of the fact that he does a good job. I respect other people's jobs and I like it when people respect me for mine. To be completely honest, I don't even do that job anymore but it pisses me off when I hear such a childish attitude towards it.

Well its good that ur doin ur job man, didnt mean to piss anybody off with that statement. But the truth is even though ur one of the security guards that did your job and did it with good detail im sure, there are security guards out there that dont really care as much to bust people as they care to get people in asap as long as they get the job done. But anyways, this is gettin way outta proportion from a misinterpreted statement.

Man! The guards are just doing there jobs. We should all be so lucky that Canada has lack rules on partying compared to the Usa. I'm betting many of you haven't attended a party in the states with security.

Major events ban candy, glow sticks, lipstick and many other items that are considered drug pharphenilia. Personally I think they should be banned, but thats another story. LOL! People have been arrested for just having these items. I once had my bandana confiscated because there was a fear of it starting fights because it was blue. :soak: And I wasn't even wearing it, it was in my hand.

To all the security guards that have searched me, I have always thanked them. It's a quick and easy process if u have everything ready to go. :c-tard:

I always hide stuff in my bra in the little pockets where the padding goes. The security usualy kinda touches the bra...but they dont hardcore feel u up. Im sure spooky security will be like any other party security.
Question: Is there gonna be a coat check there, and how much does it cost?

im very open with searches i take everything out (and i alwaysss carry a huge backpack full of junk)... just be nice to the securities and they'll be nice to you. thats what i believe. they have never taken away my make-up/perfume before..god damn if they took my perfume away id kick their asses. i think all of you should just expect a very thorough security check and try not to sneak in any items that should be left at home. be thankful we're not seattle that we can bring in pacifiers or bandanas. and most importantly..dont bring valuables that you will regret losing.

mcphee- there will be a coat check at spooky.. my prediction would be under 5 dollars.

i've always found the easiest way to get in, when you're directed to a security gaurd for patdown, being talkative, and saying stuff like "who's the lucky bastard who's gonna touch me. go nuts fella..WOA WATch what you're touchin"... 3.5 second patdown. everytime.

yeah thats all true, i've never been to a rave outside of the valley so far..its always been either Van or Chilli. I guess anybody would expect security in Seattle to be hella harder since they treat weed like coke. I was maybe thinkin of hittin up Freaknight down in Seattle for haloween, but seems like Spooky is where its at, i know Spooky last year was off the hook..yeah, Canada kicks ass.

The woman who patted me down at Breathe practically groped me it was ridiculous, I also always seem to have the security people search me for like 5 minutes. At IMF security made me pull up my hair to check if I was hiding anything on the nape of my neck
I really hope the security check at Spooky isn't too bad, and they better not take away my lipgloss.. i know they take away lip balm and chapstick.. but i've never had a problem with gloss in the past.

yeah, they always seem to take away the stuff that u need to survive the night..stuff that doesnt even seem harmful...like gum (cuz it gets into carpets or you could choke on it, etc)..and i saw this one guy gettin his bag searched next to mine at IMF and like 10 condums spilled out, lol..dunno if they let him keep them..but whatever, funny nonetheless .
