That's about that for that.
It seems every summer over the last few years I wind up reaching a point where I have to say fuck off.
Over the past month or so my house has turned into a bit of a destination for all those who want a place to go. I'm the type who really enjoys social interaction, and I'm also the type who very seldom says no, which has resulted in this current arrangement. I'm tired of feeling like I live in a crackhouse, I'm tired of trying to enjoy moments of the house being clean because I know it won't last, I'm tired of getting the shakes by 11 am because of my re-developed habits and I'm really tired of making my roommate feel like he can't relax and feel that his things are secure in his own home. I've had the opportunity to meet a lot of cool people lately and the friends that I've made truly do kick ass, but how's about we switch up the fallback venue from now on. Please don't ask me if people can come back to my place after. Please don't just show up. I haven't lost in on anyone yet, but I'm really close. It's shit how some people just dont GET a persons need for personal space and time in there own house.. The one time time I was at your house it was crazy so I don't know how you put up with that 939834765984375 times. This is a lesson learned people... DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF GENEROUS PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Being a resident myself, I figured this would have come a few weeks back. Dave you should recall us both agreed that it was about done. I’m glad you have decided so. Enjoy your summer mate, we'll sit-down and play army commando another time. Meeting adjourned.

Dave,
Your generousity is limitless and patience never ending. I hope that you can convince those who are part of the problem to become part of the solution. It basically comes down to one thing, respect. I hope you can have a good conversation with Matt because it would be a sad day to see him go.

dave i was always amazed with your ability to welcome so many people into your house and have such patience with them. i don't think i could have done it. props to knowing your limits and letting people know the boundaries.

Its funny because I'm feeling about the same thing. My house has become like a shelter for the homeless. Ofcourse their all my friends and i love to help them out when they need it but its something else when they depend on you for everything. I can hardly take care of myself all the time and now these people have made it my responsibility to take care of them without even knowing so. Im also sick and tired of people acting irresponsibly and disrespecting my home. I guess i need to put my foot down sometime soon aswell, becuase if i dont, theyll just keep depending on me and wont get their lazy asses up to find a job and a home.

thank freaking gawd dave.
its about fucking time. i used to love spending time over there with the bros and everyone else too but as you know i refuse to come over there anymore. i cant stand to see people not respecting friends...and people just using others...which i feel a lot of people have been doing to you, matt and even ryan. and its so not cool. you have a big heart...you're very compassionate...you're fun, outgoing and welcoming...but theres a time where all that just needs to not necessarily stop...but needs to have some kind of control over it. if this didnt happen now...i think you would have a lot more people like me refusing to come over there anymore. i cant wait for a bbq with the old coq crew and honourary members (not necessarily at your place) but with all of us together....cause i always used to have so much fun kudos to you hun!
