The Fluffgirl Burlesque Society presents "Dare to Bare" a novice night for aspiring burlesque starlets who will have an opportunity to win $100 in cash and prizes and perform with the Fluffgirls in Vancouver during their "World Domination" tour this Fall. This scintillating strip-tease contest takes place at The Media Club (695 Cambie St. Vancouver) on Wed. August 4th, 2004. Registration is between 9-10pm and the show starts at 10:30 sharp! Tickets are $10 available at the door.

"Dare to Bare" features performances by Fluffgirls Mia More (Vancouver), Anna Mae (Toronto) and Fluffgirl founder, Cecilia Bravo (Vancouver/Toronto). Don't miss this special sneak peak at the Fluffgirls before they embark on there "World Domination" world tour this fall.



I'm too young to be part of their tour, so i dont really care if I win; but I'm using this as an opportunity to make my Burlesque "debut". So come support me if you'd like, along with some other new girls and a few Burlesque veterans. hubba hubba!

I designed a lighting show for one of these gigs in LA. It was a blast and everyone had a great time including the girls on stage. It got a little out of control at one point but they were all having fun.

I realised today that my song is pretty short and that my routine sucks compared to what quality of performance i had always promised myself i would do.. But thats ok, i just want to pop my burlesque cherry so I wont worry too much about how good I do.

Des, if you still want to head out after work, I doubt that the competition will start right away. They'll probably have the girls from the troupe perform, then us. No worries if you can't make it though, i promise there will be other performances in the future :)
