Ice hockey players

I wanna take a headcount of how many people we have on fnk that can:

a) Skate (on ice)
b) skate & play hockey
c) have proper equipment for full contact hockey
d) are goalies
e) are interested in getting a group together and renting a local rink for and fnk hockey game

but i've never been good at that whole stopping part...

I've done those seperately but never together..

my brother and his friends used to hurl tennis balls at my face cause no one wanted to be goalie..

e) are interested in getting a group together and renting a local rink for and fnk hockey game

I haven't in a year. but I've been skating since I could stand. I've done 5 years of organised hockey and 2 years of figure skating. So I think I should still be good :)

I have a b and c covered I could play goalie dont have the gear for it though also I am willing to get together for some hockey

I'm actualy thinking to go with no goalies. Since I have a feeling there are none on here. So both deams will just have to have 3 defence man on the ice instead of having a goalie.

and i'd definetely need to go out for some drop in before i play again.

Rob I've been always trying to get this going on here for a while now. Hopefully this time there will be more people interested!

a) Yes skate on ice

you can also put the nets down upsidedown anb backwards so that the area being shot at is smaller, or put a cone in net and say you have to hit the cone to score.

Or you can play posts and crossbars. That way you can still shoot the puck high, as opposed to the net being put upsidedown

yah, i was gonna say... i'm really into full contact and all but I doubt many people here are - I can probably get you a bunch of other guys that are direct friends of fnk people, but i doubt you're gonna get 20 players + goalies (especially goalies) off of this forum. I say a weeknight like monday night or somethin.

Ok, so we don't need that many guys - but I've always hated playing without goalies, it takes away a rather large part of the game... can we not find goalies from outside sources?

i play hockey have played for 15 years and have full gear for goalie and out. I play defence in rec hockey and goalie in shinny/outdoor cause there never are any :)
