Upon seeing him they didn't say "that was wierd" or "what's wrong with that dude?", they just snapped the picture and said "alright what's next!" And that is why you should shamble.

way too many.......lol.
i grew up in nelson, which is 45 mins away from the shambhala site. straight up, its the biggest gongshow, and for most people the whole weekend just feels like one long night. you will meet the most amazing and unique people there. the vibe has always been super friendly, everyone just goes there to have a good time, no drama. Last year was pretty good, I had just moved to van early august so i figured id go back home one last time to party with my friends. me and my friend packed up her little beige truck, with SHAMBHALA 04 written on the back.... (biggest peice of shit, we had to pull over every hour to cool it down) We arrived friday around 12, and didnt have to wait in TOO long of a line up, the years before had been much worse. All of our friends always camp together and rope off an area the week before. It usually gets extreamly hot, but the river is super cold. It IS on a farm but the dust is controled. not many flush toilets, mostly outhouses. a few running cold shower booths, that pump up dirty water from the ground...lol. lots of venders. (woot my mom is one of em!!!) my highlight this year was capital J's set, bruked out... Adam freeland was pretty good, trippy, but good. Lorin was amazing as usual. i did acid on saturday night and saw the most fucked up shit happen.. liek those damn robots, WHY !!!!. it was awsome. Saturday's afternoon hip hop showcase was great, the break jam was awsome, we got alot of different crews out this year, NCF from kelowna!!

Last year we brought up 5 carloads or so and then met another 3 from Calgary. We always go up on Thursday and spend the night on the side of the road so as to get a good camping spot inside. That's actually turned into a party in itself!
If you're concerned about knowing people there though don't be. Shambhala is a sanctuary from any sort of pretentiousness or attitude for the most part. You will have no problem whatsoever meeting a dozen or two very cool cats.

sturdy was one of my best friends too, in nelson mostly... and we still hung out lots when we first moved here. but he hasnt been around very much these days. i havent seen him for almost a month. but i have talked to him a few times on msn.
