Arts County Fair 2005

Who else is planning on going??? I know most people who have been tend to go back every year. So far the only two artists confirmed for the line-up are the Matthew Good Band and K-os.

K-os is already enough of a draw to convince me to go!!!!

last year was ridiculous amounts of fun. turnables in the courtyard of the greek village, hundreds of people, free booze.. all by 11 am. *heart* ACF.

i may skip the actual concert though, the pre-drinking/after parties are the best part.

I fucking love Arts County Fair. I go whenever i can and it's always running around in a drunken stupor listening to good live music. I love it. I'll be there (hopefully)-

I will definately be going and keeping the tradition alive... always good times :-) Although we don't get to DJ this year, as they cut out the DJ portion...

Wow does matt notsogood ever suck... that and the having to take a day off work to go makes it not so appealing - of course, the 750 kegs of beer really do sound good no matter what.

I went to my first Arts County when i was 16. That was, 5'ish years ago? I dunno, sneaking in is half the fun! and as soon as you get in, no one gives two shits. hell, half the people there share the same story and that's what makes the ACF so great!

that's cool for you i guess, but half the people there don't share the same story... actually the VAST majority of the people there (used to at least) be UBC students as it's an end of year party thrown by the Arts Student Society for the hard working students of that school. Now if other college kids want to party as well that's great, everyone from SFU, Langara, Cap and other colleges.. but I can assure you that none of the college students want to see excessively plastered LGs and LBs straight outta grade 10 there, i'm sorry. You'd feel the same way if you actually went to school there.
