LAN Party this weekend (March 19th)

When: Anytime past 8:30pm on saturday, march 19th

Games played : Battlefield 1942, Desert Combat, Call of Duty, Ut 99/2k3/2k4, Doom 3, Homeworld 1/2, Warcraft 3... pretty much anything that isn't CS/Quake 3

Things to bring: Chair (peferably not too big), A network cable at least 10' long (preferabbly 15' to 25')

Tables: If you fell like bringing your own table/playing surface, feel free to do so.

Crowd: Anybody who isn't a sore looser.

If you want to come, PM doom and he will give the info.

Doom was going to wait for a response before throwing down any information, anyways...

Games played : Anything except counter strike or quake 3

Chairs/tables: Doom would recommend bringing a chair (nothin' too big though) bringing a table isn't absolutely nessacary unless a huge amount of people show up.

Crowd: Who ever shows up, Doom would prefer those who aren't sore loosers.

Air Conditioning: Doom has a few fans, but his apartment has fairly good ventilation for large amounts of gear at this time of year.

Good to know Doomy by chance you ever pick up a little game called Tactical_Ops like CS but faster paced and less realistic more fun IMO

I am with Clevich on this one hold it on Easter weekend I could get some players out then we could have a real good go at some games..

heh, Doom is doing it this weekend because it's the only free weekend he has in the next month. Oi, Doom has quite a few games/mods in the same vein of Tactical Ops/CS/Infiltration.

As for the no CS or Quake 3 thing, in doom's experience those games attract the least fun crowd to LAN with.

That's fair I suppose. Any good multi-player game will be fine.

I agree with ya there the CS crowd generally attracts a large following of asshats..

was in a sponsored fortress clan for a few years back in the days.. I must admit it was nice though had its perks like Lan party being in Florida all I had to buy was my tickets I was there for 2 weeks and made more then enough money to pay for my tickets..
