Metric @ the Commodore

April 7th, the day before they play Arts County Fair, Metric is playing a show at the fabulous Commodore Ballroom!!!

Tix are $18.50 plus all applicable service charges.

THERE ARE TOO MANY GOOD SHOWS COMING RIGHT NOW!!!!

My itinerary:

March 25 - Taste of Chaos
March 31 - Stars @ Commodore
April 7 - Metric @ Commodore
April 8 - Arts County Fair
April 9 - Hot Hot Heat @ Commodore
April 16 - Alexisonfire/Rise Against @ Commodore
April 20 - Tea Party @ Commodore
May 3 - Moby @ Commodore

From that list, I'm going to to Taste of Chaos, Arts County Fair and Tea Party. Any info on the Stars show? Really wanted to check that out, but don't see it on ticketmaster... wonder if they are sold out.

Pre-drinking for Taste of Chaos is a must...... kinda blows that they moved the show from the Plaza to the Forum though... I like being outside a lot more than being in that dingy arena. :(

They did?! Oh man, that sucks. The plaza is so close in comparison too. Oh well, at least we don't have to worry about the weather. They'll have a beer garden, right?

Well they ended up having one at Slipknot so I'm assuming yes, although this tour really is marketed towards the kids with signing booths, videogames, skate company reps and the such.... so MAYBE NOT.

Solution: Get drunk first, smuggle in the reefer. :)

^Yeah I wouldn't expect it to be any good. I'd smuggle in a flask but wouldn't want to risk losing it or anything.... I say we get a group together at like 2 or so and start drinking. Bourbon maybe??? Doors for the show are at 5.

3 hours of pre-drinking should work out well :)

I've got some friends coming over from the island for the show... that sounds good, I'm sure everyone is down with a few drinks before. But is the Bourbon open that early? Haha.
