hmmmm...
i get killer hangovers, and i still haven't found my ultimate (affordable) drink
the one where i can just walk into a bar/ club/ other beverage establishment and know exactly what i want
any suggestions?!

^vodka and water. get it with a slice of lime and squeeze the lime into it. tastes just like water with a splash of lime.

It is key in preventing hangovers because a) it has no sugars or preservatives or any of that crap and b)every time you have a drink you are also essentially having a glass of water, which keeps you well hydrated . . . so it's fighting your hangover two ways.

People say it sounds gross but I've turned five or six people permanently on to it, and even people who don't drink much like it.

In any case avoid sweet "girly" cocktails and anything with caffeine in it.

Although, I think that some people are just naturally more prone to hangovers

hmmm.....lemon infused vodka, lemon luxardo, vodka, and topped with lemonada san palligrino....and garnished with a sliver of lemon...

its soooo good.....

they also have this other drink called an Ice Tea...

and its Jasmin infused tea with vodka....it also sooo delish
