getting out of the bad-first-date rut
makes me really happy :)
there is a boy who i met spring 2001 while i was in a relationship and i thought he was really sweet, but of course i didn't have feelings for him because i loved my boyfriend. but i ran into him not too long after my breakup and i was shocked because he is really sweet and was under my nose for so long. i got his number and was too shy to call. that was in february. and i ran into him briefly in the summer and then at slinky last weekend where we chatted for an hour and i got his number again. linds was picking up on some flirtation vibes so i became hopeful and asked him on a date later that week. and he said yes. the date was romantic. so fucking romantic. we saw a movie, drank a couple of coronas. and then proceeded to have a walk along kits beach (which ended at granville island) in the wind. so we held each other while walking to keep each other warm. at the end of the date, he walked me to my bus stop and proceeded to tell me how amazing i was and how much he had always liked me. i told him that i had liked him for a long time too and we had a sweet kiss goodbye. although i've known him for a long time, i am still planning on taking things slow. but i am really looking forward to our next date *swoon* *huggles* nathaniel kristofer
