I need some advice

So I've been seeing this girl for about 3 weeks. I wont lie, I really like her.
The only problem is that she just got out of a relationship and its not just me on her list.
What I'm looking for is to settle down and find a long term relationship. I dont think this is what she wants.
So my question is.. should I just try and find another? (which wouldnt be a big deal for me cause we dont get a long on some stuff and she's kind of immature at times)
Or should I stay with her and possibly have a broken heart in a few weeks.
Like I dont want to lead myself on and she even told me that i shouldnt put all my eggs into one basket.

At this point in my life, I really dont care.. i've been fucked over so many times that love is a pointless thing. But there's that little hope in me that gets out of control some times and when shit doesnt go my way that monster of an emotion comes over and makes it hurt (that monster is depression)

if you're ready to settle down and are done with the "fun girls", look at their track record. Have they bounced around a lot, and hardly seem like they're ready to settle down? If so, f that. Don't get burned mr. marty, always go after what you want.

If it's long term you want and she a) isn't ready to do it or b) you yourself don't think she's ready to do it

well....lay pipe, notch the bedpost, and move on to bigger and better.

i agree with hard and wish but i have some more advice.

don't put all your eggs in one basket but stick around for awhile and see where it goes, she might surprise you, and even if it dosnt work out you can still smash and move on.

oh agreed, the surprise is always a possibility. Just sometimes, like I say, if you know their track record......you may know that the chance of that surprise happening is slim to done.

your exact situation.....i've been there and done that....twice.

best thing to do is just not make the same mistake twice in the learning process.
