Although my friend and her husband werent sure if they wanted more children so she decided to go with the IUD, she got pregnant 6 months later, yes with the IUD.

And this article (old, but i wouldn't be surprised it this is still the case) shows that female Ob-Gyns use IUDs at a higher rate than other female physicians. Article also says that all female doctors use IUDs more than they use the pill.

But maybe female physicians are older and aren't as concerned with their firtility as younger women are.

there's one with hormones and one without.
i chose the one without since the decision to use and IUD was based on my body's reaction to hormones before.
and yes, 2 weeks was brutal.

but now, it's back to where it was.
you just need to give your body time to adjust.

it's copper and plastic and T shaped and works very well for me!
my doc explained to me that the reason we don't hear about this in highschool is because it's really not profitable for the pharmaceutical companies since it's something you only buy once. she implied that they had invested in our sex ed in some way.
