When horoscopes are right...

It's for tmrw, but I hear what it's saying:

Prince or Princess Charming has not yet ridden over the hill top carrying a huge bag of money, and that's not likely to happen any time soon. You are just going to have to pick up your bootstraps and rescue yourself. That may not be the easiest thing, but you are your own best hero.

That said, I take horoscopes - like most things - with a grain of salt. Share here if you've had a (recent? or memorable?) horoscope ring true. And relate, if you wish. Share ones that were way off if you want, too.

I dunno, horoscopes seem pretty ambiguous to me, it's easy to interpret them to believe them if that's how you're feeling.

It was bizarre how right my horoscope for the year (from The Georgia Straight) was last year. Almost everything in it was correct, but the crazy part was that is said I'd probably be starting a new job "most likely in a warehouse". I read this mid-January; about two weeks before I started working in a warehouse.

Horoscopes are just random pieces of good advice.

If you like to believe in them, believe in them, you'll probably be happy with the results. Just make sure it's not someone just throwing darts and saying "Today is going to suck". The number systems ("Today will be a 9") on the free dailies are complete bullshit for idiotic masses.

My birthday horoscope when I turned 13 said "In September, you will go back to school." Shockingly, it came true!

Exactly... usually they just give some generic advice like "be nice to those close to you today" That's not prediction.

once, my horoscope said something along the lines of
"it may be the case of the right person at the wrong time. stick to your guns and everything will work out."

it was so bang on for what was going on in my life that day, and a decision i had reached.. that it gave me a flash of anxiety hahah

weirdness. ive never been weirded out by horoscopes, but that one defnitley did it to me.
