You'd be amazed at how many new parents don't quite grasp some fundamental rules of parenting...Like not letting your child drink coke from their baby bottle!

I saw this and many other horrors when I used to work in a daycare.

i was in the us this weekend. this guy brought his 10 month old baby in with him and his friend. not only was the baby not wearing a jacket, but the child was shoeless and sockless. :(

then when the baby went to reach for food, the gentleman, after three beers said to his child, this is daddy's, you cant have any.

i wanted to punch him

ugh it drives me crazy when i see parents in department stores or malls just screaming at their kids... its so hard not to say anything when you see them actually smack their kid on the head....

That kinda thing drives me nuts. I mean, seriously, how effing hard is it to take the time to put some warm socks on those cute lil feets? And if you absolutely must have a beer, have one not three. grr!!

ugh i know, i was on the last skytrain one night and this mom was with her kid in a stroller and she was drinking coke from a baby bottle. [this was like 1 something in the morning.]
I made a comment to my friend and she gave me a dirty look.

when my big sis was 5 she was on the ferry with our family when they turned their back for a minute, in that time she grabbed a bottle of beer and downed half of it.
my parents were great.
