Friends who try to set you up
Have you ever noticed that these friends are already in a relationship themselves. They either want to live vicariously through your new love, or they want you to be as happy as they are in a relationship. I have a friend that's been trying to set me up, and introducing me to a new guy every week. At first I thought it was sweet and I would amuse her, but now....
Last night she phoned me at 1am to leave a message saying "I think I just found a guy for you, I already set up a date, call me and let me know if that's okay." :325: I seriously don't understand these people and their obsession with setting you up. I never asked her, and I frankly don't care whether I'm single or not at the moment... ho-hum.

I try not to set my friends up, my boyfriend on the other hand. He seems to try to hook up everyone and then encourages them even if one person doesn't like the other. Then I am left with 2 very angry/weirded out/harrased friends that don't want to be around each other ever again.

I find being set up very amuzing - because Im usually offended by the people that I was promised were soooo like me.
I dont think one should set someone up with someone just like them, just someone they can stand.

I am not one to bother, and my friends know better than to try to hook me up. I guess I like to approach things on my own, my own pace, my own peace of mind. Sometimes it's annoying/embarassing to be forced to chat or whatever with somebody, you might like them or not, but just setting dates for a friend...
It's all right if we all go out for coffee or something, I mean it is less private but again you can still get a clue whether things will work out or not and afterwards we can call each other or something.

i think the person is jus tryin to b a good friend and hook a bro or sis up cuz its always good to see ur friends b happy. also sum girls love to play matchmaker cuz i dno, ur girls and love to do that stuff. lol. personally i dont mind gettin setup on dates just they hav to make sure of my criteria first and they usually do. so its all good.
