everyone doesn't get my point.......
it was my friends fault for being a crackhead I KNOW THAT, I'm not blaming anyone else but her..I'm not trying to make excuses either.. what i'm trying to say/ask is... If a teacher catches a student doing hard drugs, should they be legally entitled to tell the guardian of this child? I believe they are... |

You get a few drinks in you and you lose all inhibitions. Then the habit forms. Then it becomes a replacement for a morning cup of coffee. Sick. Sick. Sick times. When you finally reach your breaking point, it takes at least 6 months to a year to clean yourself up. It's hell on earth getting off the jib. That's one of my reasons why I had to leave PG. Courtney, what you were saying about your friend saying they wanted to stop, that is the first step to their recovery. To this day, that shit still haunts me. |

I think everyone is being fuckin ignorant saying its the addicted persons fault. When someone is physically addicted to something they have a disease. Of course the teachers should have told their parents, they have a responsibility for all the students well being while they are in school. Its unfortunate that nobody tried to help put an end to her friends problem, i dont even think she is trying to point blame on anyone she probably just wishes that someone (teachers!!!) who were a lot more mature then her at the time had taken some action in the right direction. Its a good point that when someone wants to do something theyll do it no matter what but mabey it was just a cry for help (for whatever reason) that turned into a physical addiction. Who knows right but at least someone who knew better could have tried their best sometimes thats all it takes.

who knows how this girl would have ended up if her parents were informed. maybe her rents would have been able to talk to her about it, and figure out why she was doing jib in the first place. maybe they could have gotten to the root of the problem, and maybe she would have stopped before things got out of control.
its all a big WHAT IF. But the parents had a right to know, and the teacher(s) had a responsibility to tell them, but they didn't. |
