I think alot of the girls who want this kind of guy aren't looking in the right places, or they overlook guys they think aren't there type by meeting them once and never getting to know them.

yeah I can't really argue with you there, I admit to falling for the asshole types.. I guess it presents more of a challenge.

My best guy friend said the exact same thing to me not too long ago (meeting guys in the wrong places).

okay.... so where are these "good guys"? you seee, the reason why we meet the assholes is cuz the nice ones arent aggressive enuff then it comes to girls cuz they're tooo nice... and then the assholes come around and pretend to be the nice guy and then you find out later one they were a total DICK

^ I would say call em out. After a while when you see that a guy is genuinely nice, call him out on it. I know thats not how its normally done, but hey, at least you got a nice guy to play with. :)

everytime a guy does sumthing nice for me i always tell them... girls ALWAYS remember when a guy holds her bag, opens the door, lets her on the bus first... brownie points!!! but if a guy asks you to kiss him, and you barely know him, then he gets a smack haha

Nice. Ya I'm super big on manors. I always hold the door open for people. I also appease before my self interests as well, and I think there should be more of that in this world. It sadens me when people just don't put in the effort to be polite. That carries out right into a relationship as well.

I uesd to yell at my boyfriend for doing shit like that or trying to pay for me. Then I let it go because it made him super mad.

^ I usually try to make an effort of paying. Obviously that goes to a point. Once again, no matter how you look at it, a relationship runs both ways. Equality is key for a genuinely strong relationship.
