Settlements KICK ASS!!!

Just wanted to post that I think settlements are the shit.
If you've ever had one, you know what im talking about.
4 years i was in a bad car accident and fractured my nose.
(i wasnt driving)
and ive had a claim open untill yesterday, when i closed the claim and settled for $26,000.

SO yah..im really FUCKEN happy to have this nice cheque to put in my bank account, im GLOWING :Kimmie:

my best friend is currently fighting her settlement.
icbc offered her $70,000. but her lawyer, a damn good lawyer, is opting for $500,000, and it looks like she's gonna get something close to that.

icbc will fuck you hard if you give in right away...

yah i know what you mean about ICBC.
I had my claim open for 4 years. Woulda gotten 30,000 but i wasnt waering a seatbelt, so i only got 26,000.
Thats still good tho :)

and a couple words of Advice...

DONT EVER LEND YOUR CAR OUT TO ANYONE!
i let my boyfriend at the time drive my car (hes now my x..) to get something he needed cuz he didnt have his truck.
and i was dumb..he drove my car like a fucken race car..cuz its fast.
But anyway..i trusted him...half an hour later he called crying that he crashed my car.
So now its been since october since the accident...
and im getting SCREWED over by ICBC cuz it was my car in the accident..but he was driving.
the other party is claiming injuries and thank god i have like the BEST insurance you can get...my insurance is paying for it all. My car cost over $5000 to fix...icbc was gonna write it off...but they said because my car is worth $7000 there gonna fix it.
Im sure there kicken themselves in the ass about that now.
cuz the total was almost at $6000 to fix. Crazy HEY.
Anyway..so yah...i was gonna have 40% next year for my insurance..now i have a surcharge...and its gonna take me 7 years to get back to 35% where i am at right now. :211:
I have to relie on Vince to pay me the difference in my insurance for the next 7 years...unless i can get him to pay me out for it all.
Doesnt that FUCKEN SUCK?
So yah..even if its your mother, your dad, boyfriend...whoever..dont let anyone drive your car.
Im telling you..it aint worth it!

My friend was in a minor accident last summer. He had to go to a physotherapy every week. The damage wasn't major, but there still was damage. The driver was totaly @ fault. My friend got an undisclosed about, which he wont tell me. He says its a lot. I'm betting $100K. WTF? My friend prior to this was in 2 car accidents. You would think that would play a factor, but it doesn't. My two other friends were also in the car, but they didnt continue with the suit, and they got nothing.
