You don’t need to leave your house to find creative lovemaking locations. There’s lots of ‘territory’ inside your home that you and your partner can conquer. All that’s required is imagination and a desire to try something new!

Here are a few suggestions of spots in your home you can experiment with:

Laundry Room
You may not consider this an erotic location but it actually can be a great place to have sex – especially if you’re doing laundry at the time! Just hop on top of the running washer and pull your partner against you. Not only does this result in a great position, but the vibrations of the machine intensifies the sexual sensations. Or, if you have the dryer running – sit on it instead and let its heat warm you up in all the right places!

Stability Ball
Do any of you have one of those huge inflatable balls used for exercising? Well, they have another great use! Lay across the ball on your stomach and have your partner lean over you. Then gently rock forwards and backwards, taking pleasure in the rocking motion that helps him hits all those right spots. Definitely a much more enjoyable workout then you’ll get at the gym!

Car
If you’re looking for a new place to have sex, why not try the backseat of your car – while it is still parked in your garage. Getting it on in this confined space is exciting and perhaps a little reminiscent of those frisky teenage years. By keeping the car in the garage you’ll safely be hidden from peeping toms and police officers.

Kiddie Pool
Having sex in the water can be quite fun, however not everyone has a hot tub or swimming pool that they can frolic in. A kiddie pool on the other hand is perfect for such an activity. Position-wise, lie on your back with your head on the edge. Have your partner sit on his heels opposite you and lift your hips so they are above the water. If you have a private backyard, take your dirty dip outside either in the warm afternoon sun or at night under the stars. However, if you live in an area with nosey neighbours, you may want to put the pool in the garage or basement (obviously somewhere you won’t care if the floor gets a little wet from all the splashing!).

Stairs
While a flight of stairs may be one of the last places in your home you would think to have sex, it actually can be one of the most enjoyable. There are a couple different positions you can try on stairs (translate – experiment!) but one of the easiest ways is doggie-style. Have your partner stand on floor while you kneel forward on the third or fourth step. Be sure to grab on to a higher step or the banister for balance!

Kitchen Counter
Sure this is a fairly commonly mentioned spot to have sex – but how many of you have actually tried it? Like with the washer/dryer, sitting up on the counter puts you at the perfect height to connect with your partner. This is a great way to kill time while you wait for dinner to cook. Just a word of advice – stay clear of the knife rack and any boiling pots on the stove!

Hammock
If you have a hammock or a porch swing, you have a fun little spot for sex. There’s nothing like a little swinging action to add excitement and build momentum! Again, if you have a private lot, feel free to go wild during the day. But if you have neighbours nearby, just sneak out in the middle of the night and try to keep the moaning to a minimum.

Living Room
The living room is a great place to make love as it is filled with couches, recliners, ottomans and all sort of fun furniture that can be substituted for a bed. For example, use the arm of an over-stuffed loveseat as comfy backrest or as a padded surface for leaning over. Or try out the stool – which is perfect for being face-to-face while you straddle your partner.

Pool Table
Not every household has a pool table, but if yours does why not chalk up your partner’s cue and show it some action. Try leaning forward over the table with your feet spread apart, or hop on top and wrap your legs around his waist. Just watch those nails on the felt!

In Front of Fireplace
You’ve seen it a billion times in the movies but have you ever tried it? Making love in front of a burning fire may seem cheesy but don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. There’s just something about the way firelight reflects off sweaty skin that makes for a very sensual and enjoyable experience.
