Sleepless Nights

I've just spent the entire night awake in bed, thoughts running through my head like they've never done before.

I've remembered what love is, it's been missing for the last little while, mainly because I made it go away to protect myself.

But I've finally realized again what it's like to have the special someone just sitting there and how much you would walk to the ends of the earth for her.

Love like this has never been an easy thing, true love is the most complicated of all.

But all those complications mean absolutely nothing in the end, because that other person is your perfect fit, even if it needs a little shimmying to fit.

That's it.
