heart wrenching

You know those moments in life where you can literally feel your heart wrenching in your chest? I just had one.

I just found out that someone I used to be friends with killed himself. Apparently he had lymphoma, which he kept a secret from pretty much everyone. He leaves behind a fiancee and a child that is his. We were pretty close up until about two years ago when he packed up and moved to huntington beach. He swore it would be the best thing to ever happen to him.


It's absolutely unbelievable. In the last few weeks I've been running into/reconnecting with/hearing about friends from the past and it's been pretty positive up until now. I'm sure you all can relate in some way, it's just fucking weird.

i'm so sorry myra. i have had a few friends lost over the years the same way. tho they didn't leave behind a child. that's so horrible. hope you are ok.

That's terrible. Hope you're doing ok Myra. I had a similar even happen to my family a couple times. One of my Cousin's Wife left him... he killed himself leaving behind 3 Children. :( *huuugs*

wow...I've had a friend take their life as well but leaving behind a kid!!! ^^^it is to bad, but we don't know this person or how this diseas was effecting him so I'd be a little more careful about labeling people you know nothing about. thats some heavy shit. I hope your ok but more importantly I feel for the fiancee and child, do you know them??? and if so wold you feal weird about contacting them?? she could probably use someone to talk to.

I can understand that feeling though, happens alot when i think about my past. It's never a good feeling, but try and stay optimistic!
