I was just sexually harrassed

I had just been out for a walk, and during my walk i was sexually harrassed. Some guy came up to me and started saying stuff to me, i tried to ignore him and kept walking. He then walked infront of me and told me i was beautiful and to begged me to come to his car, i said I didn't understand him and started walking faster, trying to get away from him. he then pulled my arm back and pushed me agaist a car and tried to kiss me.. i finally got him off of me and started running away and he followed me. He caught up to me and started saying stuff like "I want to have sex" etc. I ran around the corner and went into a convenient store fo a few minutes...then made my way to my apartment. I'm can't stop shaking... it was so scary. I don't know what to do :(

next step, police? or do you have an employer you can trust over there? contact someone, friend\peer anything, dont let yourself be alone with this for too long.

it's almost 12am so my office isn't open. I called two of my friends and told them what happend and they're coming over. :(

Shit like that used to happen to me all the time when I lived in Surrey, and pretty freequently when I lived near commercial drive.

I had this one guy try to follow me home a few times once. I had to ask a bus drive to let me out through the front doors, but keep the back doors shut so the freak couldn't follow me out.

One time, I felt this weird need to ask cubed/jim to meet me at the skytrain station late at night. I usually just walked, but I had this weird feeling. When I got off the skytrain, the weirdo was standing there.

I usually scream and threaten to call the cops whenever a car slows down and the loser inside tries to talk to me. That really scares them. When I didn't have a cell, i'd reach into my pocket and pretend to have one.

Things like this is really common in Japan even more frequent in Tokyo. When i was in Japan there was this guy on a bus trying to grab a girl under her skirt. The girl started freaking out and everyone was yelling at him. The bus driver heard what was happening and drove the bus to the police station....

i heard they have separate cars on the subway for men and women since gropings are so endemic.

kinda reminds me of Amazing Race where whenever they went to India the women would be subject to "phantom ass grabbers"

Yup thats on the bullet train they do that. I was actually in the train station once cause they got like series of tunnels to different trains and this japanese guy was running around in a trench coat naked opening his coat to little girls. I was like okay.................................... .

im sorry to hear that. mabey it would be a good idea to carry some mace. alot of people i know carry some. you did handle that well though. i think you should give a discription to the cops, but you seem to be handleing this well. make sure someone knows where you are going when you leave the house though. that would be scary, remember you kick any guy in the nuts and hes going down! :P
