Who's your inspiration?
For me I have different people for different things~
...to do my best and not give up so easily: ~My sister [as much as I make fun of her, nothing's ever stopped her from striving to be the best and I can't help but be in awe of her sometimes] ~My friends, Erin and Karen [both work wayyy too hard, but they always get good results because of it] ...to be happy: ~My friend, Amanda [she's always looking at things positively, no matter what, is always smiling, and is friendly towards everyone] ...to draw/be creative: ~Escher, Harris, Carr, Portelance, Van Gogh... [I have lotsa artists who inspire me] ~Yoko [she always amazes me with her poems, views, and artwork!.. I would be jealous, but it's more inspiring.. and makes me wanna be as good as her! :p] ~Rick Herdman [I think everyone has those teachers who are able to affect them... he was the one. He was an -amazing- graphics teacher and totally got me interested in graphic art] .... ladida.. I think I have more but that's all that come to mind~ Add yours!! ~breezy

my dad (whoever he is) inspires me to be everything he isn't -- a real man.
my mom inspires me to give my all and never need anything in return. "just shut your mouth and do your fucking job until they tell you to stop." my sister inspires me to look at the bright side. my 2 year old nephew inspires me to grow up (go figure.) mr. kerouac, ginsberg, corso, burroughs, et al. inspire me to just be. "first mind. best mind."

Artistically, David Usher, Ed Kwolyzks(sp?) from live, Ginsberg, Kerouac, Naska, Amano, Christine Barker, Joseph Malakai, Philosopop, and just overall beauty in the world..
Inspiration on life... as in the ways to live life... my inspirations are Bill Philips then Lao Tzu As a man, Liu Bei and Guan Yu inspire me... or the tales that are spoken of them. my sister for all the shit that she has gone through. she seems so weak in the inside but she's one of the strongest people i know... and my muse inspires me to do things I could never do infront of her...

breezy- escher! I would have thought so from looking at one of your pieces the "face" one... in your sketchbook...
and about me being your inspiration? you are one crazy girl! It goes the other way around breezy, I view your thoughts/creativity in the same light as you view mine.. which I find kind of funny right now (i'm literally giggling) after reading what you wrote.. word for word, it's no joke, I think u and i are quite similar and it's really kind of scary breezy...! :225: But whoa. what a nice feeling, you just made my day!!!*hugs* --------------------------------------------- on with the thread... Artistically: Every artist is an inspiration to me. I try not to let their creativity influence mine. It's hard to not let it do so when you compare yours to theirs, and yours just seems so much smaller, and flawed. But then that's where I snap myself back to reality and face the fact that I'm born with my own talent and I can discover my capabilities, explore it, refine it, and never forget to have fun with it. ;) Actually come to think of it........ Every person I've met has inspired me in one way or another. Those who I've come to hate, have inspired me to choose my friends wisely, and to cherish those who I consider my true friends. Those who in my eyes have fucked up badly, inspire me not to become like them or to not make their same mistakes. Those who are very artistically talented have inspired me to look into my own style and refine it. I'd have to say that I've really been inspired by many people in the "party scene", or who have been involved in it at one time or another. It has nothing to do with partying, but I'm just amazed at how much talent there is out there. I am often intimidated by people who really amaze me.. but on the other hand, I can be inspired by anything. Mold on cheese even, ;)

My boyfriend Darian inspires me to fear the ordinary and see the beauty in simplicity (which can apply to so many things)
As an artist, I find Frida Kahlo's work most inspiring, although she lived a life of tragedy and pain, she used painting as a way to cope and create beautiful works M

if u woulda asked me this question last week my list probably would have been different....
my grandfather - for making me want to strive and do anything it takes to get where i want, and also making me realize anything can happen out of the blue my mother - for showing me that all people aren't just trying to use you... to look on the bright side of situations.....and lettin me know that doing a million things at a time isnt impossible my big sister - for making me want to be as nice as i can at any given situation, and to always look out for those who are close to you and to a friend of mine who will remain nameless - who's always been there for me, even if we hadnt talked to months.......he's always had faith in me and has always pushed me to be my best.... just thinking of any one of these people makes me want to be a better person, and to continue on living

family doesn't really inspire me much...everyone of them have a different look in life than me.
anyone that has a successful job really inspires me. i went to a workshop last year and a commercial designer was talkin about his career and crappers like that and it TOTALLY inspired me to be a commercial designer now. (he designed all the visuals at petcetra, reebok sports drink, clearly canadian bottles...etc etc) lotsa ppl in the "raving" industry inspire me a lot too because it takes A LOT to reach up high and actually hit it big. just the whole production thing interests me a lot... i pretty much have a diff inspirational person each month or so... this weeks inspiration- one of the guys in forwerd prod...started so young and hit it big... damnn i feel so special i was talkin to him on icq and he was making the twisted flyer...like whao.. i'm such a geek.. but ya.. successful ppl just inspires me to continue with school and work hard to my goals
