It never ceases to amaze me at how deceitful people are at times and how manipulative people are, until someone tries that shit on me.

Oh I hate drama. Excuse the venting... I don't feel like reiterating my problems on FNK, however, just uttering my disgust for manipulative people.

it's rough watching it happen to people and knowing that they are blind to what is going on. all you can do is hope that they can see the light soon and come away with minimal damages.

you can't let it get to you though, or let it change the way you treat people, even bad people. Because then you will have something to be ashamed of yourself and that feels no better.

It's interesting that people so often use this section to meef off about innate human tendencies.

I have yet to meet a single person that does not manipulate others in some way, shape, or form.

Not saying the other person in this case is necessarily justified, just saying that it's all a matter of perspective.

Manipulation, like all human characteristics, are neither good nor bad. It's 100% the intention behind it that determines that.

What I've learnt is when you reserve your trust, your love, etc. TOO MUCH your judgement can turn out to be outright wrong in many cases.

That being said, being too trusting, loving, etc. is a curse as well.

As with all things in life, the key is balance.

There's a fair number of people I trust. And a rather larger number of those I don't.

that is very true! watching people be blind actually makes me sad. i would never base my opinion of someone on something someone else has told me about them. that in a way is someone trying to manipulate you away from people. i've known people that do that..........and in the end they only make themselves look pety and rediculous. i don't think the person looks bad for being attacked.........the attacker is the one who loses in the end. and anyone that wishes to follow..........you should take a hint and learn to lead :)

I’ve had that happen first hand. It sucks. But people eventually learn that what they did/said was wrong and maybe the person didn’t deserve the attack. People can be quite cruel.

thechix0r: I hope everything gets sorted out. Dealing with this kind of drama is draining.

Yea for sure, it does get quite exhausting, but I just took some time to relax and collect my thoughts. Things have sorted out a bit today, but nothing substantial, I think the best way to deal with it, is accept it for what it is and move on. I was more so venting yesterday than anything... hehe I guess I am not the only one!
