Congratulations Myles, you know it comes down to taking that leap and I personally think you're driven enough to succeed.

Also, you're still fairly young so you have time to establish yourself... and yes it will be difficult at times but you just need to stay dedicated and focused.

Really though, coming to this realization and going forward with it is an amazing accomplishment in itself. You don't want to end up having a midlife crisis and questioning what route you could've taken career-wise.
