^^ I don't know if I agree with that entirely. Both have advantages and disatvantages.

The BIG reason why we cannot throw a show like that is because of our by-laws and lack of sizeable "super club-type" venues.

Yes we do but the place is an absolute DUMP; its called the PNE.

^ It's not a purpose built Venue for things like that.

It's a Stadium, not a Bar/Dance Club with mini-Clubs within it that holds assloads of People.

what are the advantages? that when we do get big names we can see them in a smaller setting? i guess that would be one. like it was killer to see nick warren in a small club like crush.

but i still want big parties every once and awhile...and i'm not talking pne or old plaza raves. but parties where there is a bar.

umm you get that in toronto too, footwork, boa etc... guv is rad for big talent.. not so much for vibe, cept for maybe breaks nights... still rad tho

the only advantage i could maybe think would be a better vibe and less jaded crowd.. but i cant really say that cuz i havent been out here in years.
