We do appreciate keen & friendly out-of-towners but there is no need for extreme debauch or 'invasions'. lol! Kelowna has 60+ fantastic DJs who know how to throw down like any city DJ. And they will drink ya under the table. muah! Play nice with us you crazy people. lol!

Unfortunately, Jan 18 is all booked up.
For Evolution Thursdays, we're booking in March at the moment. The night The Fed sees about 80-120 through the doors on a good night. We do not charge cover for our lil thangs. We do see cuts off the bar, which is our only income for this weekly event and is plenty to cover drinks for 3-4 invited Okanagan DJs, flyering, and the odd 'special guest' rolling with the 'Kelowna Clause.' (see below) Yes, it only goes until 12AM as The Fed has a booze/food license. DJs/Music Not all genres work in our lil tiny rockin' place. DnB/Jungle, Electro / Head-Banger House, ass-smackin' Breaks, & clever broken-beat party mash-ups give The Fed Fans the goosebumps and guarantees a good time. (Yes, I made up a few genres. Lol!) Hard House, Hard Trance, Psy-this, psy-that, true techno, deep sexy Christian lovy dovey house, and overly mellow thangs don’t fly with the Fed fans, unfortunately. :325: We've had all sorts of out-of-towners like Nathan, noradawn, TimBuck, Lola, even Myagi dropped some phattiness this past summer. The ‘Clause’ :317: We don’t roll in cash and have no budget for real DJ salaries so you have to be willing to roll with the 'Kelowna clause,' being: A. Submit a mix (or make a link to your mix available) B. Drive yourself to Kelowna (if selected to play) C. Play for beer D. Have a rocking good time !! If the night does well, which it usually does, we will definitely toss you some money for your gas expenditure & maybe score a bed at a friend's place (If you trust us ~muah~). If this sounds like it’s something you’d like to partake in, lemme know. Just remember to take care of us with some of your thangs in Van if you can, which is only fair. :power-p:
