Benny Benassi July 17th, 2007 - Club Level  Benny Benassi Dj Benny Benassi  Benny Benassi was born in Milan on 13 July 1967 under the sign of Cancer. He lives in Reggio Emilia, a fine Italian town about 100km south of Milan, where the food is great and the Dance music is even better. He works as a producer in collaboration with his cousin Alle Benassi, who has been a musician and arranger at Off Limits, the internationally successful production unit run by Larry Pignagnoli. After producing KMC feat Dhany (No 1 club charts UK), the Benassi cousins started work on the BENNY BENASSI presents THE BIZ project, a ground-breaking mixtured of electro, techno and house dosed with minimalist flair. The first single SATISFACTION has made its presence felt in the main charts all over Europe. His dj style is easy to describe... it's kinda electro, sort of house-tec, dirty and cool, sweaty and smooth. Her productions fuse a vast array of influences. Her live electronic act incorporates elements of trance, house, breaks, funk, rock and even hip-hop. Myshell’s spontaneous sets involve remixes on the fly with loops layered and arranged in real time. No two shows are alike. Myshell has opened for some of dance music's biggest names such as Matt Darey, Thomas Penton, Donald Glaude, Doc Martin, and Armin Van Buuren. Her live mix CD, Myshell Nukina Live, reached #154 on the Canadian Independent Radio Charts in 2004 as well as garnering critical praise from the likes of Jesse Saunders, "originator" of house music, and Craig Anderton, editor of EQ magazine. It can be easily said that DJ Myshell is definitely a name to watch for, this Scarlett of Music is one of Canada’s top up and coming Canadian Producer and undeniably a force to be reckoned with! The daily rotation on the family stereo included everything from Tina Turner, to traditional Kenyan music. While the offering was diverse, he was naturally drawn to artists that expressed their talents through powerful rhythm. After such an upbringing in a musically charged environment, it was only natural for Hirshee to express himself through experimentation with different musical styles; as a result he was drawn to the art of drumming and DJ’ing. Spinning hip hop at first he soon began experimenting with different forms of electronica. After discovering the sounds of house music he instantly was hooked. Hirshee quickly made the shift and developed his new sound which got him booked regularly in the Vancouver club and party scene. After a successful stint of DJ’ing around the west coast Hirshee decided to move beyond the limitations of just DJ’ing and took the next logical step into the world of production. His love and passion for all music reflects in his production for house, as his sound could vary anywhere from harder electro to funky disco. Whatever it may be one thing is for sure, Hirshee will deliver nothing but quality beats. As his ear for quality music has been with him and will continue to be with him for years to come. Specializing in bangin funky house and breaks, this seattle local has rocked crowds all over North America, including New York, Salt Lake, and even Anchorage! HyperFunk has shared the decks with Benny Benassi, Bad Boy Bill, Dj Dan, Hatiras, Donald Glaude, and Richard "Humpty" Vission to name a few. Armed with an arsenal of funk, and seemingly unceasing energy, this dj's mission is simple; make your body move!
