lots of breaks for good measure hahah, but you guys gotta admit the line up is a lot more diverse than the last couple years. theres actually BANDS this year (FIVE ALARM FUNK!!!!!)... and not one but TWO ninjatune artists (vadim +bonobo) ... also Mighty Underdogs (gift of gab n lateef).. just to name a few of the surprises I was excited to see.

i don't think they could really have done a better job this year, the roster is just phenomenal.

While it's easy to make jokes about Shambreaksha, there really is a rather decent assortment of music on offer. Even if you're highly conservative with your genre-classifying, you still get:

Psy trance
Reggae dub
Dubstep
Dancehall
Dancerock
Rawk
Hip-Hop
Turntablism
World beats
Chill

This kind of variety I can live with.
