WOW! i had no idea there was this much Van hype about the show!!!
Well let me enlighten everyone with questions about the show....
The show will open doors @ noon on SAturday, the music starts around the same time and goes untill noon sunday. There will be open dex from 1pm-5pm on sunday, and from 9am-noon on sunday. The reason i wanted to do this is so people can come early and bring in "whatever they want" and setup camp while some good tunage is on...it also lets any new dj's that want to play on a massive stage with huge sound the opportunity to give it a shot! There will be a fair amount of promoters there early too to help me setup the beer garden/tent with the 2nd stage. As for free concession, it means free while quantitees last. I am buying over 600 bottles of water, dozens of glowstix, lots of food to bbq too! Unfortunatly i can't buy 2000 bottles of water so this will have to do. I reccomend coming early, because chances are people could waste the water, i guarantee it will be gone before the end of the night. The beer tent will also sell water, but obviously not untill the free stuff is gone. The beer tent is being run by the landowner, party of the deal was he was able to sell beer and water in exchange for the venue, i already told him i will be giving away a tonne of concession stuff and he has agreed. The info-line will be up day of, 250-755-6455, please do not call before. There is rumours that there will be yet another renegade stage being put on by lucid records and the fatkats.....keep your ears open for more! Just wait untill everyone sees this killer venue! OH yeah, and one more thing. I had a meeting yesterday with the police and the Parks officer....we cannot have tiki torches or campfires ...mainly because of all the forestfires happening and such. It is the same way @ all campsites all over bc as well. I also have a whole bunch of regulations to follow for the generators which is no problem. So that's it! Get ready for an amazing show, this will be very similar to the massive called Blumpy's Beat we did may 10th of last year, expect the same gong-show as always from dizzy... peace 9 days to go! matt@Dizzy

omg 5 days!!! yay! so question about this beer garden thingadoo, are minors aloud up in it??? and also, I read on the ravevictoria website that for those who want to participate in the dance competitions, they have to have a new ticket and not an old one, so you cant enter the competition if you bought your ticket in march... not that i'm a pro break dancer or whatever, but like what else can the new tickets do that the old tickets cant???
