He is widely recognized for opening the flood gates of Dutch producers and DJs to the international music scene.


2005

2005 Brings a new wave of challenges for Ferry Corsten. Aside from DJ-ing all over the world, he is currently working on his new album and party concept entitled L.E.F. (Loud, Electronic, and Ferocious)

L.E.F. is Ferry Corsten’s newest event concept released this year where he will promote his new sound that he and other artists produce and play to clubs and events all over the world.

The concept L.E.F. began as it actually is a dutch word meaning “Guts” which is what many artists respect Ferry Corsten for as a producer and DJ. He has always been known to push the boundaries of music and has had a great influence in molding the dance scene to what it is today through his numerous productions and hits such as “Galaxia”, “Out Of The Blue”, “Gouryella”, “Punk”, and “Rock Your Body, Rock”.

FERRY CORSTEN THE DJ

DJ professionally for the last few years, Ferry Corsten has consistently remained one of the top 10 DJs in the last few years.
1999 was the first year he had entered the charts and is currently listed at number 5 on Uk's DJ magazine (2004) and number 8 on America's BPM magazine (2005).
Since then, he's consistently traveled Europe, America, and Asia every year averaging about 130 performances around the globe with concentrations on America, Europe, Middle East and Australia / Asia.


FERRY CORSTEN THE PRODUCER

Known for the countless aliases he has produced and remixed under since the release of his first record at the age of sixteen (16), Ferry Corsten has remained steadfast in pursuing his dream of spreading his unique sublime sound to music lovers worldwide. In his quest, he has gained not only respect in the music industry he has built around him but in similar musical genres as well.

Ferry had always been interested in music as a child. Tinkering with his father's record player at a young age, he saved up money to buy his first keyboard by washing cars, and selling mixed tapes to kids in his neighborhood. He then embarked on a live act performance with a friend and won his first award "De Grote Prijs van Nederland" Holland in 1989. He eventually released a record with a couple of friends when he was just sixteen years old and has evolved into releasing self-made productions. To this date, Ferry produces and engineers all his musical productions and compilations.

After initially producing some underground club tracks Ferry became more interested in clubhouse and trance. In 1996 Ferry achieved his first chart position in the UK single chart at #46 with 'Don't Be Afraid' by Moonman, his first major and European breakthrough as a solo dance Artist, producer and composer.

Since Then, Ferry Corsten is the only electronic dance music artist to achieve the highest number of dance singles in the UK charts and currently has 10 gold singles in his studio.

FERRY CORSTEN THE ARTIST

Whilst producing under various aliases in the last few years, Ferry Corsten has decided in 2004 to concentrate solely on the name Ferry Corsten. Since, then, he has released his first artist album (2004) and has had 3 singles from the album that have had numerous success as chart singles in the UK. Such hit singles include Punk,It's time, and Rock Your Body, Rock, which debuted on number 11 on the Uk Charts (February 2004). Remixes of this single were made by Moby and Rennie Pilgrem.

During that year, he launched his artist album "Ferry Corsten: Right Of Way" at the Heineken Musical Hall (Netherlands, 2003) where 4,500 clubbers came to be with Ferry in a special 8 hour set, in The Netherlands is a testament to his goal in combining his artistic skills as a producer and a DJ on an international scale.


FERRY CORSTEN MIX COMPILATIONS

Aside from producing, Ferry began compiling and mixing the Trance Nation (1999-2001) series together with Ministry of Sound which has sold over a million copies worldwide.

He has also since then released numerous compilations aside from Trance Nation such as Global transmissions (Japan) , World Tour (BENELUX) and his most recent compilation Infinite Euphoria

Her expertise behind the decks have placed her alongside the worlds most famous names: Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules, John Digweed, Felix Da Housecat and Benny Benassi, are just some of the giant list that reads like the whos who of dance music.

Eva has played muse to many of the people she comes into contact with, inspiring both clubbers and peers alike. James Lavelle just happens to be one of those people. He promptly invited her to the UK to perform at London's superb club night FABRICLIVE. She has played all over the world, most recently in Asia including Jakarta, Indonesia, and Seoul, Korea. She's also been recognized by URB, Raves.com, and cited in DJ Magazines top100 DJ poll as one to watch.

Eva has not only established herself as an amazing DJ talent, but also an emerging producer. Her collaboration with Medway remixing UNKLEs sublime tune Invasion, (featuring the vocals of Massive Attacks 3D), was a highlight of James Lavelles Global Underground 026: Romania, and received worldwide acclaim. Rocking straight into 2005, her most recent remix with production pal Medway and newcomer 13 for Kelly Osbournes smash hit One Word, ( a top tune of WMC ), debuted as the highest electronic music download on iTunes, March 2005.
