I've been in fort mcmurray now for almost 3 months, so it's starting to feel like my new home.

All i do is work on my schooling constantly....then all of a sudden i'll be home again and working on a NYE event overnight....

It's gonna be a weird change all of a sudden to what i'm used to...but i'm definatly looking towards it...

Too bad brian won't be coming with me to play, but he's pretty happy since he just landed a sweet job up here.

VIP tix are $25 (get you ahead of line, your first drink, and in a draw for a TONNE of prizes from corona, molson, 94.5 the beat and more)

There is a 'rave' at cyber city the same night....so you can buy a combo ticket (will work for both) for $55..($15 pr and $40 for cyber)...incase you want to go to both...this will give you full in's and out's of the cyber city party as well.

There is only going to be 450 pre-sales available..the last 200 will be sold at the door...so make sure to get pre-sales...because the event usually sells out week of.

For $15 for a 2 room party that goes from 8pm -4:30 am and serves liqour all night...it's a pretty sweet deal...most likely will be the biggerst vancouver island party again 3rd year in a row...

With tix so cheap, you could pay for your travel and get a hotel room and still save $$!!!

It's really cool that we are working together to make NYE in nanaimo the best place to be in BC!

I believe Greg and Ray are doing the show, and will definatly have some bigger dj's....and besides the island/van fav's we will also have DJ Supafly from 94.5 the beat so there will be some hiphop that is ACTUALLY mixed so it sounds good..ahahah.

But yeah, the transit system is free all night....as well ray is looking into an hourly shuttle to go between the venues (about 3-4km distance)...so you can 'party-hop' all night...it's gonna be a blast!

Greg and Ray's show i believe will go to 5am, and ours goes untill 4am...however ours i think is the only one licensed so i'm pretty sure people will be going back and forth all night!

oh man, excited to work WITH another party to make NYE even better.

I just called Boomtown in VanCity and they have no idea about any tix for the NYE at Cybercity. ANyone know what is up with that? Apparently DizzyMatt said that tix are available here but Boomtown doesnt seem to think so. Maybe the tix have not arrived yet? I dunno does anyone?
