Wow, words cannot describe how beautifully everything came together last night. Driving up there in the pouring rain only to see a chunk of blue sky on the horizon as we entered Ok falls! Litereally we cheered. The music, the vibe, the awesome people, the hard work, positive energy, awesome location and everything else, all combined to make one of the best parties I've ever been to.
Those speakers were crazy @ mainstage, working on the bass feedback at the start of the show was uber fun. Thanks again to the countless people who went all out to make last night what it was.

thanks to everyone in the okanagan and beyond for making this a very special party. Everyone stayed so positive in the face of rain and many obsticles, we have a great scene, lets keep it together.

I think I have a lot to say about Hidden and I will start off by saying it lived up to all the hype and much more. A great party consists of these elements: music, location, and people . This wasn't just a great party, it was an epic party because it had all of those elements and one more that blew me away; visuals. A huge thanks goes out to Rich-e-Rich for bringing back some great Shambhala memories while projecting some awesome visuals.

That was awesome, mad props to spacedub and everyone else involved. And to all of you that still had energy to kick at 530 and onward, word

Wow....All I can say is that this was an amazing party and I'm impressed. =) Derek, it was good to see you again, you and your event crew did an excellent job. The party had a great vibe to it, and the talent you had lined up for this simply floored me. Haha, I was debating for a really long time (weeks) whether or not I should go, but when it came down to it...there were Nelson locals headlining - I wanted to come out to support. =) It'd been a long time since I'd partied in the Okanogan or seen Fuzz and Ajax play at a party anyway.

There are just so many great moments that i really don't even know where to start . It's like having a really good but crazy dream but not really knowing how to peice it all together.

I danced, I danced, and then I danced some more...
and inbetween the dancing I took in the beauty that we are surrounded by,
the wonderful people we live near, and the music and vibe that brings us all
together. this is why i came back to the okanagan. this is what the summer is
all about. thanks to all the ladies and gents who made the night exactly what
it was. sweet, sweet goodness.

We had a freaking blast, mad props out to Derrick and John for all their hard work and effort to bring us such a sweet soundsystem, excellent equipment, and for drawing the wicked crowd for us to play for. Also big ups to all the other DJs, 'twas a fine evening indeed.
We'll see all of you again at Shambhala and look forward to playing more gigs out in your area soon.

Just a little bit of info for peeps who will be making the trek from out of town. While the post says Kelowna the event is actually in the South Okanagan, in between Penticton and a town called Oliver, that’s about an hour drive from Kelowna.

You will start seeing flyers and handbills in Vancouver any day now, . I have lots of buddies coming in for this from Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise , Golden ,Calgary, Vancouver, Revelstoke, and all over including Ontario and Quebec !!!

Heres a quick run down of what we have so far lined up !!!!!!
This doesn't include the amazing weather and lack of rain we have up here in the valley !!!!

We have a freaky magician that does David Blaine style magic so freaky I don't even let him do it in my house ( Freaky Fisher ) a performing art group that does moving plays and live art and all kinds of tripped out stuff ( Evil Circus ) there will be DJ Demos provided by www.FlyDJs.biz , and the Kelowna DMC Champion StickyBuds, we have 2 stages each with Lasers, crazy lighting, digital projectors and over 60,000 watts of sound, and yes, that’s for each stage, add to that the most magical 310 acre valley, yes , the whole valley, with breath taking views on site, and a beautiful drive in and out with constantly changing landscapes, the sunsets on the site are wondrous, and there is limitless room for camping .

Have I mentioned the multitudes of talent, over 50 DJs, 3 bands, and varying performances that will leave you speechless, spanning every genre of music you can move your feet to and blending different styles and mediums to keep your ears and legs busy for almost 48 hours straight. And visuals that will leave your eyes begging for mercy, with Fractal Media and Rich-E-Rich on the case you know its going to be stellar, and we have a couple lasers in the works, yikes !!!!!!

There will be vending and full concession and cheap water , I have a friend from Revelstoke who is going to be blowing glass live on site, and a whole day of awareness programs and information sessions covering all the important things that are happening in our world , as well as a fashion show, and some amazing B-boy / B-girl and freestyle MC comps hosted by a community of crews working together from each end of our beautiful valley.





Our goal here is to show that community is the way to go to make events like this successful and that by working together we can accomplish great things, this is a party for partiers, by partiers, we know what works and we are striving to make this a tighter community and breaking down the walls of negative attention our scene has been getting through years of media miss-information . We are also doing our part to bring attention to international issues that affect us all on many levels and to give people something else to walk away with other than just another killer party story. Knowledge is power !!!!!!


We even have a couple DJ slots open , if anyone wants to spin at the party send us a demo A.S.A.P.
Our budget is double maxxxed already, but this is a good time to jump on board a party that’s going nowhere but up up up , best we could offer would be entry plus one, but like I said, this is going to be an annual event and can only get bigger and better........... Only 24 more days people , see you in the woods !!!!!!!!

Directions
From Penticton:
Drive approximately 12 kilometres south on Hwy 97, go past the Hwy 3 turnoff to Vancouver, continue 500 metres. Turn right onto White Lake Road. Continue along White Lake Road for approximately 8 km. You will pass St. Andrew's golf course on your right, continue past the observatory(you will see big freakin satalite dishes) (9km from highway 97). Follow White Lake RD till you reach the left hand turn off onto White Lake Fairview RD, be carful because its easy to miss (we are going to trry and mark it with something), you just follow that road all the way to the site.There will be a big HIDDEN sign @ the gate.

We will be giving away ONE free ticket to Grasslands ($60 value) at Hidden2, between the hours of 4:00am, and 7:30am saturday morning (the first night), at stage one. during this time, first up will be a tag battle between heidrogen and phosphor, glitchy breaks, turntablism, and some thick ass bass. and after that, me spinning some twisted nasty psytrance. all 3 of us will be spinning at grasslands as well, so if your there and digging it, you should stick around till the end. when 7:30 hits, we will award the ticket to somebody.
how shall we decide who to give the ticket to?

we are going to give it to the person with the most enthusiasm, heart, spirit, shine, chutzpah, whatever you want to call it. Want to win a free ticket? dance your ass off, wear a crazy costume, throw your underwear on stage, sing the lyrics or make up your own, do your best dj impression from the dancefloor, (but please don't touch the decks), hand out lollypops, start an interpretive dance session, show us your enthusiasm, scream your dreams!
