Heavy Metal A Party?

I'm in the early planning phase of throwing a small party, most likely 1 room maybe 2. Anyway I might get a metal band to play for an hour or so as well as a live hip hop act. I'm just looking for a bit of feedback.

We play our own songs, and a few covers here and there. We can learn some metal songs if it would land us the gig. How long a set you looking to fill?
