oldskool rock!

I've always been a fan of all types of music, metal, punk, hardcore, hip hop, downtempo, DNB, breaks, early 90s alternative/grunge... but recently i've really been into old 60s-70s rock... i've been listening to jimi hendrix, black sabbath, pink floyde, aerosmith, eric clapton(i got this wikkid eric clapton and BB king blues cd)

What are your favourite oldschool rock bands?

yeah man i grew up on classic rock, so much so that i didnt really fit into the mould at school cause i was so heavily influenced by it.

i would rock the beatles and the doors, cream, arlo guthrie, bob dylan while my peers were into puff daddy, tupac, and wu tang.

DSOTM(floyd) is one of my all time favirotes. the engineering that alan parsons did on that record is the closest thing to engineering perfection captured on tape.

if you want to hear some really, really increadible stuff check out some MOODY BLUES stuff.......like: ' in seach of the lost chord'.....or...'days of future past'.........

such incredible arranging and textures on those albums.

but the gandaddy of them all for me is the beatles 'magical mystery tour'.

it is that album, being in 9th grade, and having a fat bag of weed wich made me the person i am today.

thank god

Classic rock is definetly a genre that tops my list of favs.

I've always found it interesting that the artists of that time are so musically talented, and music today seems to be lacking in comparison.....must have been the copious amounts of drugs?

decypher:

the DSOTM and oz sync is extremly creepy. each scen change and motion in the film perfectly mtaches up with song changes and drum hits on the album.

you can really see it when dorothy opens up the door to oz and the munchinks start dancing and shit.

that mathes perfectly to the song 'money'.

now floyd has always denied the connection but when you actually see it, its WAY to coincedental to be random.

you can find the file of gnuttella or p2p.

but if you want i can zip it over to ya.

Led Zeppelin.

Oh and if anyone brings up the boat party debate of Zeppelin Vs. The Beatles I'm gonna argue that forks are better than spoons.

I've been all about the Zeppelin and Pink Floyd recently... thats all thats on my MP3 player right now. As for the DSOTM/Oz movie, if you use BitTorrent, you can find it on suprnova.org ... I downloaded it from there recently.

[Here's the Torrent: http://66.90.101.54/suprnova/torrents/1249/WIZARD_OF_FLOYD-zip(3).torrent]
