I really can't assume but I'm going to make a wide generalization anyways.... I'm willing to bet that 90% of 'radio rock Metallica fans' hardly know any of their back catalogue and most definitely almost NONE of the Megadeth catalogue!.

Comparing Mustaine's vocals to those of James Hetfield..... I guess it's all a matter of opinion but I'd say Mustaine has way more range. He gets that higher pitched growl goin' down... LOVE IT.

When it comes down to success Metallica wins but musically... Megadeth is where it's at. The 'Countdown to Extinction' album that 'Symphony' is on is amazing. It pretty much pulls out its pecker and cock slaps the black album into submission.

Just my 2cents though :)

Black Album was way more polished and listener friendly Metalica's previous releases. By far and justice for all was their best album.
