The Fridge Box Social
Presented by After 8 Productions ( It all starts After 8 ) Jeremy Shell, aka Fridge, has become an infamous promoter in Vancouver, throwing only a single party each year. Each one has grown in size and popularity becoming an underground sensation. His previous soirees have been notably sold out shows at the Commodore and Celebrities respectively. Known for not throwing a simple affair, but an experience to behold, Fridge is preparing for his last celebration in Vancouver. This event will be a tribute to everything that is house music, and all genre's encompassing. It will run from 10pm - 6am in a brand new venue known as The Black Door located at 2nd & Ontario. Because there is a large capacity, cover will be a mere 5$ at the door, for an entire night of music and dancing. Featuring: Dj Zêus ( myspace.com/lldjzeus - Dj Zêus )  House - Electro - Progressive A resident DJ at Crush's new Lure Sundays, Lance Lasheras has enjoyed numerous years supporting the Vancouver house scene. His notable achievements include the underground album A Rainy Day which circulated the globe and became a hit in China and Japan respectively. In 2004 he was selected along J-Ling to perform at the exclusive Ferry Corsten after party in downtown Vancouver. He has held residencies all over Vancouver, including Viva, Barcode, Sonar, and Tokyo Lounge. He has opened for numerous top DJ's including Phynn, John Askew, GTR, Mizz and Ferry Corsten. He has recently signed to Threeway Productions, and is releasing his first commercial record in 2007 to match his worldwide tour. The first single "Naughty Natty" is already burning up charts everywhere. Outside of music, he has directed the short film Hygieinos, which one first place at the DWVM Film Festival, and toured the Toronto and Vancouver Film Festivals. He has directed several TV shows, including a full season of Backstreet which won him the BC Television achievement award. He also wrote and directed The Cats Meow which aired as part of a CBC Television special. J-ling ( threewayproductions.net - Home )  Trance - House - Progressive For a solid four years Justin Kim was a resident at Viva in Richmond, and worked alongside Danny Taylor and Sean Michaels to make it the best Trance night in Vancouver. Following this he worked hard in numerous residencies across the city until finally signing to Threeway Productions as part of their new house and trance line of artists. He is currently producing an album while preparing for a new residency in Tokyo Japan's exclusive Vanilla Lounge in September. Self ( myspace.com/djself13 )  Breaks Anthony Sage has been Dj'ing in Canada for over 8 years, originally as a scratch battler who achieved underground fame for the hit hip hop group Circular Logick. After evolving from the world of hip hop to breaks Self found his niche and began dj'ing at clubs all across the country. He has won numerous awards for his ability to scratch to virtually any genre, and fuse numerous styles into the same sound.
