(2007.10.20) Cargo - ERIC PRYDZ @ Sonar

I thought I would repost the announcement I made in the Roger Sanchez thread since this show is at the same venue.

In addition to the massive cost of Prydz on a weekend, his opening DJ, production etc., the main reason tickets are at $45 is because we are only allowed to put the legal capacity of people into Sonar. The reason for this is that it's under new ownership/management and they don't want to piss off the city/Police, etc.

** SONAR IS NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT **

Sonar is now under new management - these are the former owners of Azure lounge whom we have worked very well with in the past on multiple events. Appreciating there was a "cash grab" at the door and the line being held by the previous owners and Sonar staff at several events there, this will NOT be a problem moving forward.

This reason alone is why we have decided to use Sonar again as a venue for CARGO events.

LOL I think I may consider now. Eric is a seriously awesome producer. I know many of you know him from call on me, but the man produces a wide variety of great tracks. Kraig do you know what kind of style he will be playing?

Twisted always puts so much into their shows - i mean how many promoters decorate still? Well i guess a lot too... but Twisted always does and they do a bang up job of it!
This show is gonna be sic! I am for sure going.

as for the night.. i cant wait. the rewards of listening to hip hop 2 nights a week every friday and sat is well worth it.

going to be making the trip over for this one...his essential mix is a good starting point for him...but he has a ton of more club songs that are not contained in it...lots of nice long buildups that would destroy on a big system...

PS: keep in mind - Clubzone is also a physical ticket location as well... You can go to there offices in Yaletown and pick up tickets for any of our events at any time.
