hmm...this reminds me of something that happened after gabriel & dresden @ celebrities a handful of weeks ago. after the gig ended, a friend & fellow t.a.'er asked me to accompany him gorgomish, 'cause i was calling it a night, but he still really wanted to dance up a storm @ gorgomish close by. & apparently/according to him, a guy needs a girl w/ him to get into the joint. so, he asked me to accompany him in & then leave. LOL. so, i politely agreed to. but yea...what the deuce?! was he just lying to me 'cause he wanted to hang out some more? :|

He wasn't lying. That's how Gorgomish works. Pretty much if a guy shows up by himself he's paying $60+ to get in. If he shows up with a girl and pays for the girl, he gets in right away for one, and pays $50 total.

But I used to work security for an after hours that was accross the street from bassix. free for girls, $40 for guys.
and for more nights.. there was always more dudes than girls.

No...Elektrik Soulstice @ the Waldorf is 19+ since there is liquor being served.

I'm not sure of the age restrictions on gorgomish.

I know the line-up at Gorgomish can be daunting at times. But I notice it tends to be a lot better on Fridays. As well as there are new policies that have been implemented to help improve the situation.

There will be free VIP passes available for girls and a discount for guys with their Elektrik Soulstice ticket stubs.

I will post the details as they are confirmed.

hmm...my shin still hurts like a mofo.
but perhaps i can go & just relax, rather than dance up a storm.
after all, it's not gunna be blasting 140 bpm trance.
& also, the last time i was @ the waldorf, (for winter break), i just relaxed anyway, 'cause i was dead or something, & i was in the trance room the whole time, to boot.

edit: hmm...the night is young. we shall see what i end up doing...
