Solid Entertainment will be collaborating for the first time with Vancouver’s Top Promoting Teams (Doubledown Productions, PI Entertainment, LCU, MSH and Koo Entertainment) to present to you our annual "SOLID NYE BASH". The event this year will be an “ALL-WHITE MASQUERADE” theme event. Be prepared for an unforgettable evening as expected attendance of over 5000 party goers come together to rejoice the new year of 2008.

From the creators from Doom Night, International Music Festival, Insomnia, and Fusion Dreams, this event will once again be world-class. For very first time, Solid will be importing a white laser from Germany to go with our all white theme event. The event will showcase international talent coming around the world in 4 separate areas while featuring a thumpin sound system, mesmerizing visuals, and an amazing light that will make your evening memorable. You will not want to miss out on this massive dance event. Get your tickets early as this event will sell out in advance. Expect the unexpected and believe the hype as Solid takes it up another level.

same. =) but...ugh...i strooongly dislike wearing white. =/ LOL. i wore the ONLY white t-shirt i have in my ENTIRE closet to twisted-white back in june, & it was the lamest t-shirt ever. o__O but i told myself back then, "i will be DAMNED if i'm gunna go out & buy something white just for this event. o__O"

but ehh...seeing as how this is a new years event, disregarding the fact that it is still indeed a rave, perhaps i will venture out into 1 of those oh-so trendy bitch-ass boutiques during my christmas shopping escapade to pick something up for the 2008 countdown. woot woot!

i wonder if they will actually do a good countdown this year. the one like... two years ago or something, at MLC, im pretty sure they missed it all together haha... either that or i was high and I missed it all together.... im pretty sure it was the former though.

The one at MLC they did definitely have one. It was pretty weak though; everyone was too fucked up to care. Seriously, it was like everyone hugged their friends for about 20 seconds and then went right back into dancing.

I've only been to one rave party that actually did a successful countdown. it was Dec 31 1998.

every other party they have been late by about 10 minutes as the DJ wouldn't stop playing for the countdown. I would rather not have a countdown then have it 10 minutes late.
