Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Could have been a lot worse... Current mood:  thankful Category: Life Hello All - This is Jennifer's friend Amanda writing on her behalf. Jennifer was in a fairly serious car accident yesterday afternoon. Her car was hit on the drivers side door and she has multiple cracks/breaks on her pelvis bone. She was truly lucky that this was the only injury she sustained...no other cuts or bruises :) They are keeping her in the hospital for a few days to monitor her and to control the pain. The doctor has told her this type of injury usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to heal but will require no surgery, just a lot of rest. As Jen says "It could have been a lot worse" and we're all thankful that it wasn't. Unfortunately this means Jen will be unable to perform as scheduled in Vancouver on February 16th. I know you all love her just as much as I do so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is truly blessed to have the support of so many wonderful people all around the world. Jen will be back online in a few days and I'm sure your kind words will help lift her spirits. As many of you have by now heard, Jennifer Rene was recently in a fairly serious car accident. While the injuries she has sustained are not life threatening and she is expected to make a full recovery, the length of her rehabilitation will take the next month, meaning that she will be unable to perform at Pink this February 16th, 2008. Consequently, Allya has been searching for a suitable substitution at short notice and, thankfully, good friend and talented performer Elsa has come to our rescue – read on!
