Amazingly enough, I got two tickets for IMF at a total of $119. You gotta be on Ticketmaster right when the tickets are released to score that. This is the only time I've ever bought tickets that cheap though.

i know i'm out of the vancouver loop and all, but am I the only that thinks it's a little nuts to have to be "quick to the punch" for the "privilege" of paying $70 for a ticket to a party like this? jesus fucking christ on a church pole in texas.

i agree that making sure you're on @ 10 a.m. on that tuesday morning to pay the best price isn't the most 1337 way of going about business. that's for damn sure.

but @ the same time, as a consumer, i'm not gunna refuse to take advantage of it instead of plain out refusing to go because of this business method. so, therefore, i paid "Total Charge: CA $60.75" for this, as i've done for all p.n.e. colliseum high school dances...err...raves that i've been to so far. :p god damn. this'll be my 6th one! time flies by!

& $60 for 7 hours? (i don't stay the whole 10 hours.) hmm...$8.50 an hour to do my most favourite thing: dance to my favourite music. (+ $3 for water.) hmm...to me, that seems way better than paying $40 for dinner & a movie or $50 to go to a bull shit mainstream club & spend it on drinks or whatever.

ehh...that's just the way this young consumer chooses to spend her money. to each their own! :)

true enough, when I go out to a club I end up spending $60 - 80 on alcohol plus cover. The line up is pretty good this time around. I haven't seen ferry corsten in a while. and global deejays are killer. i think this is going to be a good rave.

indeed. i used the $50 amount to make me seem like less of a booze hound; even though i'm not much of one to begin w/.

hell, i've even been to some p.n.e./m.l.c. raves where...ehh...i didn't exactly absolutely adore the headliners. but i still went 'cause i love to dance & would rather be doing that than anything else.

but yea. about a week 'til show time, guys! :nuts: it'll be neat to see ferry corsten in a different type of environment. =) & i'm definately going to have to look up global deejays's myspace page to refresh my memory on what their sound/style is like, again. =P

yesh... if i had to leave a rave @ 2 a.m. instead of 6 a.m., i would actually give not going a little more thought, as that time constraint would make it seem a bit more pricy. =/ & i would stick to just going to trance club nights, where a few promoters's regular acts cost less & they manage to charge around $25; (markus schulz, blank & jones, deadmau5, etc.), & they close @ 2/3 a.m., as well.

however, i have payed $60 for a trance club night (shorter dancing time) before. but then again, trance club nights own my soul. & all of my t.a. friends are always there. :love: (they don't "do" raves. =/)

anyway. i'm leaving for edmonton the day after, i believe. but i'll be filled w/ "trance bliss", (i've never popped & never will, you bastards, :p ) that i highly doubt i'll feel the fatigue; @ least, that's how i felt last week after above & beyond. =P but then again, *pokes my avatar* did i really expect any different? ;)
