Well she actually she is also a producer and remixer with several releases under her belt on beatport, itunes, audiojelly etc. (that is if she wore a belt...since apparently she's always naked). She also recently placed in the top 5 for votes in a recent Paul Van Dyk remix contest:

This came about with the use of her brain not her looks

Everyone has different opinions on promotion and advertising. An ad that might work on one person might alienate another. But I have to say that her promo pictures (some of which, as Avana mentioned, were related to her gym and fitness career) definitely helped her get gigs in Miami and a recent India DJ tour (where she was the first Budweiser girl). For a woman who came from abject poverty but always wanted to see the world this was a dream come true. A chance to spread the message of her music to the world.

If they were to do with her gym, why is she holding a Juno-106, a Pioneer CDJ1000, and a Record Case??? Plus what the fuck kind of mindset do you have, even if it was a gym, put some damn fucking clothes on. Still using her whore abilities to sell something.

PS: Her remix of Far away is decent, it's not great, but it's a decent piece of music. I don't know what the level of quality her sample pack was, but not knowing the original, this sounds decent. So props, but she should be able to do that without posing naked like whore.

Dear Sir...are you insinuating that I'm a liar. Do I know you? Do you know me? I haven't checked out the promo section of Myshell's website in awhile so perhaps some of the shots I was thinking of are no longer there.

But I have taken quite a few photos of Myshell. And do you know what the fitness ones were for (and to an extent the sexier DJ ones)?

Myshell has hashimoto's disease (a form of hypothyroidism). Are you familiar with that condition? It is an auto-immune disease that affects your metabolism. It is extremely difficult (near impossible for some) to attain a healthy body weight (let alone an athletic physique). It is a constant struggle and juggling of medication to feel healthy.

Myshell has been working hard to build a portfolio to provide inspiration for women and men with hypothyroidism and hashimoto's.
