So how are people suppose to know about tickets going on sale in advance when A) you don't post on here and B) you never update your website? I've been checking both here and your site for the past 2 months and not until recently has this all been brought up. Let me guess, only certain people were told, thus, they bought them all cheaper early on. I guess I can tell who they are by the ones re-selling to others on here at a higher price.

Stan, I completley understand that there is not a written rule that you should post on here. But there is an unwritten rule you should post your party on fnk before selling tickets. Fnk members have been one of your biggest supporters from day one, and I shouldn't speak for everyone but I will anyways, people on here probably feel pretty ripped off at this point. I guess theres greater demand in other places. But just remember what that does to the scene, thats if you care

i was stoked to see sean tyas and eddie halliwell on the bill but there is just no way i am paying $85 to see them. i guess it was naive of me to think that advance tickets would actually be available to the public

Just like I mentioned in the other thread, its the principle of giving everyone a fair chance at buying the tix in the first place. Imagine if the Canucks released there tickets to the "public", though, not advertising it in the media, and only those on the inside were aware and snagged them all up. There would be an article in the front page of the Province because of all the angry fans, people would be pissed! Last year, I was late on it and ended up paying $130 to go. Sure I wasn't happy with spending that much, but it was my own fault because I acted late. Anyone who critizes me and says I should've been on it sooner can look at my profile and check my recent posts. I was asking people all the way back at the beginning of summer what the deal was with Dooms Night and the PNE and never got a straight answer. Check Solid's webpage, there's jack-shit on there as of today. Where are these tix on ticketmaster anyways? How the fuck am I suppose to buy them up here in Kelowna otherwise? I've supported Solid a few times before as well as many of the other promoters like Kraig, Agro, etc. by making the trip down. This is garbage and all Solid is doing is hiding out listening to their cash register go cha-ching!

When it comes down to it, Solid needs to charge more because of the sheer cost of the party! They're not going to risk a huge amount of money unless they believe they're going to make money in return.

As well, people may have bought tons of early bird tickets in hopes to re-sell them at a higher cost since they know people will pay. Another reason could be that people are marking up their prices by a couple of bucks so that the personal sellers can make a little loot for their time. Making a $70 ticket $75 now. I'm upset that I didn't get any cheap tickets, but that's what happens when parties get hyped! It's not anything unusual..

Meat Katie IS going to be the bomb! I hope there's ventilation in the second room because it's always sooo hot in there! I'd like to see a different kind of set up in there also! It's always the same =( I think the 3rd and 4th stage have some GREAT locals playing! DOOOMMSSS NIIIGGGHHHTTT!!!!

Last year was the same thing.... tickets were out before the lineup was even posted....and I am other solid events have been as well. Obviously the word got out fast and people bought there tickets... word went around.... seems like alot of people are out of the loop...

i don't think people are getting my point. I totally understand tickets skyrocket up to high pricing. Its happened every year at Dooms night. But they have always announced it on fnk, it was always one of the first places to announce it. This year they announced it a week after tickets were on sale. I think its a low blow on their part
