imo Malente's music destroys just about any of that cheese coming out of the UK. his fusion of dirty electro & party rockin funk carries more weight than a truckload of tired british breaksters. most of the UK breaks scene is like that lone tweaker still going at 9 in the moring who should have gone to bed hours ago but keeps on twitching while everyone else has moved on. Good thing cats like Malente are keepin the funk alive.

^heh.. not meant to be a diss in any way, although i see now that following grapes post that's totally what it looks like. oops. i actually like general midi... just trying to be folksy really, i like tons of british music. i just enjoy ripping on a particular sement of their breaks scene that i think is totally wack.
