I was at this club night at Pound and oh my gosh!!! these guys know whats up.... Dj SLIM just wrecked up the decks with a combination of housey breaks and some nu school breaks!

Elite Force came on the decks at 1200 and it was all over!!!! this guy was the man behind converting me into nu school so I was all over everthing he was playing tonight!!!!

GOOD JOB SODAPOP AND THE POUND CREW!! Im digging all the talent you guys are bringing out.. I wish most of these kids would recognise the same when it comes down to the breaks but what can you do?

Yes sHack (Elite Force) was without a doubt a blazing DJ. His set was pretty much all dubs and unrealsed TP's. Would have had a chance to hear more exclusive tracks but the boys with Pio CD player didn't show......

Thanks for the props Precise... we got lots in store for the summer.. LJF mentioned we got 2 SINNERS from TCR records coming June 19th...... the week after that we have the KickIT Pre-Party with BIG LEAGUE CHU- T-Dot's #1 Breakbeat DJ (Eye Magazine poll 2 years runnin')..... For July Toronto's breaks embassador D-MONIC is droppin' by on the 17th..... plus TwentyHz (my project) and 2guerilla (club promotion big boys) are starting a new monthly at Sonar called NEXT- this is focusing on the major players of the breaks scene. Or first night, July 25th has MEAT KATIE- Vancouver debut (Canadian debut I believe....)
plus we originally had SIMPLY JEFF lined up for July 31st.... but he cancelled yesterday so that date will be filled... stay tuned for that! And yes the flyers still have him on there but we went to print without knowing the cancellation!

Keep supporting- those that have been to SEKS.... others take a chance! Come down to the Drink one Wednesday and see what we got.... breaks is the for front of the night... but we do have Dn'B once a month... and the residents (Pound and TwentyHz crews) are tight and keep the place movin'!

Oh just wait till you see what we have for August!!!!

Did I mention the free SEKS Where Clothes, drinks, and promo records and CD's we give away on the regular?????

Just ask Precise... Elite Force gave him the "Girls Of The Night" record right after playing it! Even the out of town guests get into the act!!
