you know, i've been doing this for a long time, 8 years now of doing shows, and we've pretty much always delivered. i'm sorry that this one didn't work out the way it should. his flights got fucked up, what his agent booked for him was not the best thing they could have done. it wasn't his fault, and it wasn't my fault either, but i'm willling to take the hit for it.

we work hard to give you shows, for very little reward lately, but we do it because we love the music.

i'm losing some serious coin on this show, but i will find a solution for everyone who came down, paid and left and was disappointed....."

I told those peeps that wanted they're money back that Goldie was still going to perform, and that he was on his way, which he was. When the commotion at the front door started I had recieved a phone call from Auto saying that he and Goldie were on the Granville bridge basically 5mins away. Many people still wanted they're money back which is fair considering some were students and some were 9-5ers and had to be up early as it was a weekday.
For those that did stay even though they wanted they're money back, well I guess its up to you wheather you still want your money back. I will leave my opinion out as its irrelevent. I do know Jay is going to offer people an option to getting they're money back as he still had to pay for the show in full. Probably along the lines of either getting money back or getting guest list for up coming shows.
Goldie did perform, and in the eyes of his agent thats all that matters. Again I will leave my opinion out as it too is irrelevent and wouldn't change anything.
Goldie was very upset with the way his day went. He was travelling since 6am London time, to finally arrive in Vancouver at close to 1am PST. We will be doing a Goldie make up show sometime in the near future. Till then hold tight on the details of that.
Remember though, we have Artificial Intelligence playing their first Vancouver appearance May 22nd @ Plaza Club, and of course the legendary (and my fav DnB DJ), DJ Zinc June 26th also @ Plaza Club.
There is very little $$ being made in DnB in this city. Us as promoters are sticking our necks out to keep the scene alive. The love of the music keeps us going.

I'd like to add that Jay and Andrew are some of the nicest and "easiest to handle" promoters that I've had the pleasure to work with. They truly wear their hearts on their sleeves for the DnB community. It's a shame that there were a few speed bumps with Tuesday nights show. It's an even bigger shame that there are people out there looking to take advantage of their generosity and positive movement for the community.
